It's Not Just a Coincidence. It's a Gateway to Obtaining Your Desires.
Have you ever been thinking of someone you haven't seen in a while – then, all of sudden, the phone rings, and there she or he is.
Or have you ever had a deep longing for something to happen in your life – then unexpected events conspire to manifest it in your life?
Many of us write these moments off as coincidences, deja vu, synchronicities, or even more recently, the law of attraction. We say, "oh, it was just a coincidence." We tell ourselves, "no way did my thoughts or intentions influence how my life circumstances."
I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me in my life. Sometimes I think to myself, "did I just do that?" Then I write it off and continue with my day.
Although many of us write these moments off as random coincidences, many of the world's greatest scientists, philosophers, and thinkers will tell you otherwise.
Now you may be saying to yourself, "Yeah, ok, but I am just a regular person."
According to author Deepak Chopra, we are not separate from coincidences that happen in our lives. Instead, he says that we experience them because we intended them.
What does all this mumbo jumbo talk mean? It means that our thoughts and intentions actually influence our lives on the physical plane of life.
In Deepak's book titled The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, he says, "we are the ones who give meaning to events, and we give meaning to events through intention."
He says, "coincidences are simply messages guiding us in ways to act to make our dreams and intentions manifest."
Now I have to say when I first began to study this a couple of years ago, I was speechless. I personally think many of us know this on a deeper level, but when you read it, it almost "awakens" you to gain a clearer sense of how life works.
You may be asking yourself, how will this help me achieve my goals and live a better life?
Well, if you haven't realized it by now, the only way to have coincidences and synchronicities show up in your life is if you have an intention or goal!
You should be asking yourself, do I have an intention for how I want my day to show up for me? Or do I have a clear goal for what I want to accomplish in life? Or even as general as do I know what I want in my life?
And don't just think about it for 2 seconds and move on. Really think and write it down clearly for yourself if you have to.
This may sound simple to some, but I guarantee you if you were to ask someone any of these questions, many of them would look at you confused.
Go ahead, ask the next person you see, "did you have an intention this morning for how your day was going to show up for you today?"
Unfortunately, some of us live in auto-pilot. The day before is the same day as today and the day after. That sounds like the matrix to me. Not a good place to live!
Furthermore, if our intentions or thoughts influence how life shows up for us, then it's a reasonable statement to say you should become clear in your intentions, so your life manifests for you according to your desires.
So, you may be asking yourself, “do my thoughts actually affect my everyday reality?” The answer is a big fat yes.
You are the architect of your life, and coincidences and synchronicities are communication devices that reflect back to you your deepest thoughts or intentions.
Now I'm not just talking spiritual "woo woo" here; this has been proven by quantum physics or, to be specific, the study of quantum entanglement. But I won't discuss that here. So feel free to do your own google search on "thoughts and quantum physics."
This is why every personal development book ever written reiterates the importance of a positive mindset. And why we've seen an explosion in books and movies like "The Secret" or the law of attraction.
This is why author Earl Nightingale called it the "strangest secret" because it's actually not a secret at all. He says, "we become what we think about most of the time." It makes sense to me! But most people don't realize it.
So, when you think thoughts of success, love, peace, abundance, and joy – the universe has an uncanny way of reflecting it back to you. But if you think thoughts of fear, lack, envy, or hatred, your life will also reflect this back to you.
Most important, the law of attraction is working for you whether you believe it or understand it or not. It's just like gravity; it never changes.
So, if you want an abundant, healthy, and happy life, I think it would be wise to understand it so you can get it on your side, don't you?
Whether people tell you this or not, this is the foundation of the personal development industry.
Here are some actions steps for you:
1.) Set an intention for your day. Relax and close your eyes just before your day starts; think about how you intend your day to show up for you. For example, do you have a meeting coming up? Picture yourself in the meeting sharing your expert ideas. Do you need an answer to a challenging problem or life question? Picture yourself working through the problem and feeling the feelings as if you've already solved it.
Note: When you wholeheartedly begin to set your intentions before your day starts – coincidences, synchronicities, and the law attraction will start to work for you. You will begin to get into the flow of life!
2.) If you don't believe in any of this stuff, do your own research and prove it to yourself. Again, my intention is not to sway beliefs, only to help others live better lives and achieve better results.
You may ask yourself, how do I know if this has real value? The only sure way is by results. And I mean actually results – in your health, happiness, relationships, and wealth.
In other words, when you are presented with new ideas that may or may not help you, you should ask yourself three questions:
1.) Do I see a change in how I feel, act, and speak?
2.) Am I really a bit happier each week?
3.) Are these ideas or new systems a practical aid toward altering my inner self from negative to positive?
