ARE YOU READY?

Chazz Scott is an author, keynote speaker, and resilience expert who helps ambitious professionals break free from burnout and build success that feels as good as it looks.

He works with high performers who have done everything right on paper yet still feel exhausted, disconnected, or quietly questioning whether the life they built is actually sustainable. Many of the people Chazz works with are first-generation professionals, leaders of color, and high achievers who learned early on that their value was tied to what they produced.

Chazz’s journey began with failure. As a Computer Science major at Hampton University, he failed his first programming course. For a Black student in a field with little representation, that moment planted deep self-doubt and a familiar question many ambitious professionals carry silently: Do I really belong here?

That setback became a turning point. In 2014, Chazz discovered The Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, sparking a shift in how he understood mindset, resilience, and personal responsibility. That shift opened doors to high-impact environments, including working alongside nuclear physicists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, one of the most elite scientific institutions in the world.

By 2017, despite major career milestones and co founding Positively Caviar, Inc., a nonprofit focused on disrupting youth mental health stigmas, Chazz found himself burned out. On the outside, he looked successful. On the inside, he felt misaligned. Chasing achievement without space to breathe had quietly pulled him away from himself.

That reckoning led him deeper into the study of neuroscience, human behavior, and sustainable performance. He learned that burnout is not a time management issue. It is a self trust issue. He later brought this work to the TEDx stage, where his talk explored why rest often feels unsafe for high achievers and how self trust becomes the foundation for sustainable success.

Today, as the founder of Supra Mentem, Chazz trains leaders and organizations to redefine success, release guilt around rest, and build systems that support long term impact without self sacrifice.

Chazz has been recognized as a BE Modern Man by BLACK ENTERPRISE, named Top 30 Under 30 by HBCU Buzz, and awarded The Positive People Award by The Baltimore Times. His work has been featured in Forbes, CBS News, Fox 5, and Thrive Global.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Cyber Security from Hampton University. His work is for those who are ready to stop proving and start living.
